Sherando Lake Campground
Please join us in the Blue Ridge Mountains foothills at the Sherando Lake Campground. The campground is just off the Blue Ridge Parkway around mile marker thirteen. The rally is being held Labor Day weekend starting on Friday, August 29 concluding Sunday, August 31 before noon. Additional camping before Friday and after Sunday is NOT included. If interested make those arrangements with the park service. Regular park rates and policies apply. No camping sites are reserved for these additional days. Rally fee includes camping, Friday and Saturday dinners along with a lite continental breakfast both Saturday and Sunday. Door prizes and awards also to be featured.
Near the rally site are several local breweries, wineries, historical sites and some of the best roads in the mid Atlantic. The campground is a Federal park so those rules apply. The park gates are locked from 10pm – 6am with no exceptions so don’t be late.
Registration is simply $35.00 early and $40.00 at the gate. No senior prices are offered and children under 12 are free with an adult however dinner meals are not included.
Early registration will closed on Friday, August 8th, 2014. We have established a maximum attendance regarding meals. In the event attendance exceeds the meals rally fees will be discounted.
All bike makes are welcome however no RV sites are available in the group campsite areas.
Sherando Lake National Recreation Area, 12 miles south of Waynesboro, VA on Rt. 664, exit #96 off of I-64. Sherando Lake is located in the George Washington National Forest, swimming, sand beach, boat rentals, fishing, and hiking are available from the campsite. Ride the Blue Ridge Parkway, Skyline Drive, and the Shenandoah Valley. Ride maps available. Visit Monticello, UVA, Crabtree Falls, Goshen Pass, Natural Bridge, Museum of American Frontier Culture, Lexington, Charlottesville, and historic Staunton, VA. Park Service locks entrance gate from 10:00 PM until 6:00 AM.
